Hi, i have a mouse but i do not know it's manufacturer, but it's written on it ' 3D Optical Mouse Rating:5V 100mA Tested to comply with FCC standards for home or office use made in china ' - when i connect it to my laptop through the usb port, windows shows the follwing message, ' one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned,and windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving the problem, click this message. ' - i have been searching for days now for it's driver, and downloaded all free device drivers software, but vainly. I think needs ' ps/2 compatible mouse driver. Can you help? There is a thread here discusses the same problem, and the solution was unplugging, removing battery, but did not work.

Without knowing the exact model number of the mouse I can't find the drivers for you but here is the link to the Vista compatibility list for Microsoft mice. If you find your mouse on this list there should be a link to download the driver.
