Programma Microsoft Equation 30

Apr 21, 2012 - This list might be a good place to start. The third item on the list, KLatexFormula, looks promising. I was using Microsoft equation 3.0 in MS word(16) till yesterday night. However, today morning it just got vanished from the insert-> object list. However, for the time I have installed a 30 day trial of Microsoft equation 6.0.

I have been using Microsoft equation 3.0 for ages. Suddenly when I tried inserting an equation yesterday it gave me a weird screen.

The box splits in two I am unable to access the symbols from the menu. My computer recently updated itself, don't know if this caused it. I tried repair and even reinstalling my office professional plus 2013 but it did not fix the problem. I am using Word 2013 but it does not work in power point or excel either. It does not work Can someone please tell me what to do?

Attached is the screen that I get when I do insert>object> microsoft equation 3.0. The equation editor does not work either. I am unable to type symbols into the box. Dear Mary Sau Thanks for trying to assist me but I did not get anywhere with your instructions. I am not seeing the option 'Category' in my control panel.

Only thing related was >back up and restore (windows 7 is only option but my operating system is windows 10). I tried to create a system restore point for windows critical update 9/24/2016, which I believe could be the date, but I am not sure. I am not seeing any options to restore small icons but only to restore computer to that date, which seems like a drastic step.

Any help would be appreciated as this is keeping me back from my work. Thanks for this reply. I am now understanding.

On my computer its Control panel>Recovery>Open system restore> choose restore point. There was an automatic restore point to but the critical update was installed on.

I tried creating a restore point to this time but it seems like I cannot go back in time and the previous automatic restore point is no longer available. How can I get equation editor working again? It seems like I cannot even download it separately as it is built into office 2013. This is causing me a lot of stress as I desperately need equation editor for my work. It was working just fine before someone did an automatic update that I did not even request.

Now, I really have to thank Windows updates for messing up my equation editor. It was a blessing in disguise! After 2 days of trying to fix it, I remembered a little notice that would come up from time to time when I was using equation editor telling me that MathType was a powerful upgrade. Whenever I clicked the button to find out more however, another notice would come up saying I could not be connected, so I struggled with my equation editor all these years. Last night I decided to google MathType and learnt all about it. I downloaded the 30 day free trial and it is working beautifully. I can edit all my old equations and use the new features for a more professional look.

Gathers vxd 055c manual. I will certainly buy the product before the 30 day is up, it is only $58 if you are an academic. But even if I did not buy it, I would be left with MathType Lite, which is basically Equation Editor, but you get to keep all the new fonts. No need for Microsoft Equation 3.0 anymore!
